Our Story

At Partake, our growers are 100% committed to the highest artisanal craft standards, patiently producing real craft flower. Whether you’re new to cannabis or an experienced smoker, we think you’ll appreciate the efforts we put into our products.

Partake is committed to exclusively offering high-quality cannabis, grown with love. We carefully select our cultivars and grow them slowly, in real soil, watering and fertilizing based on daily visual inspections of every plant. We do not use chemical pesticides, ever.

Eventually, when colour, texture and trichomes are just right, our team of growers gently harvest the plants. We then hang-dry them on their stems, ensuring a slow-but-thorough curing process that retains flavours and humidity at its best. After careful inspection, at their peak, we then hand trim each and every bud, ensuring a clean smoke while minimizing the loss of trichomes. And we hand package our flower for the very same reason. 
All of that takes time. A lot of time. But it all adds up to top-shelf quality flower every time you partake!

And, to help customers see the difference that the care makes to the final product you buy, we publish the test results of every batch we put our name on. That speaks to a level of excellence and transparency not often seen. Less hyperbole, more real craft flower. That’s what Partake stands for.

Our team

The team is led by Remi Michaud B. Sc. A business leader and veteran of the prairie grain handling and consumer packaged goods (CPG) food industries, Remi has been harvesting and marketing crops since his early days on the farm. Aside from his love for the plant, he brings senior management experience and professional expertise in business strategy, operations, administration & logistics.

Landon Yarmuch is our Master Grower. He honed his craft for many years, growing small crops of medical cannabis. Always learning and always striving to improve. In co-founding Partake in 2017, he set out to achieve a new standard for growing cannabis, combining science with a nurturing approach and an appreciation for the benefits of focusing on the needs of the plant, first and foremost

Afifa Gilani M. Sc. Is a scientist who manages our quality control program at Partake. Her background includes lab analysis, medical personal protective equipment as well as CPG in food and cannabis. Her wealth of knowledge and down to earth approach helps ensure Partake always meets or exceeds industry and Health Canada mandated safety standards.

The rest of the Partake Team is made up of a fun and hard-working team of growers, cleaners, trimmers and packagers. Their focus, too, is on the plant and delivering an exceptional cannabis experience for our customers in Alberta and across the country.
